World War II The Battle of Britain

This was an extensive air battle fought between the United Kingdom's Royal Air Force and Germany's Luftwaffe. It included direct conflicts between Britisha and German aircraft as well as the British enduring the destructive German air raids. Eventually, Great Britain weathered the onslaught and came away scathed but vicotorious.
