Life of Gautama Buddha

Life of Gautama Buddha
Born in current-day India, Gautama Buddha began life in the lap of luxury as prince of the Shakya Republic, but his father shielded him from the human suffering in the country and world. Buddha first ventured out to meet his subjects when he was 29, and he was greatly affected by their meager conditions. He left his life on comfort and set out to understand the world and how to overcome the pains of life.
