Syllabus

1. Of patents Nos. 1,379,224 and 1,507,440, granted to Smith and relating to devices used in dog races, the former is held not infringed and the latter void, on the authority of Smith v. Magic City Kennel Club, 282 U.S. 784. P. 122.

2. Patent No. 1,507,439, to Smith, for an improvement in starting cages for racing dogs, is void for want of invention. P. 123.
