Frances Hodgson Burnett
Frances Eliza Hodgson Burnett (November 24, 1849-October 29, 1924), English-born American author and playwright, is best known for writing children's stories. Her most famous works are Little Lord Fauntleroy (1885), A Little Princess (1905), and The Secret Garden (1911). Burnett also wrote adult fiction.
