President Obama: LGBT Rights, Same-Sex Marriage




President Obama's remarks on the movement to stop unlawful descrimanation against people who self-identify as LGBT. The pinnacle of the movement happened in June 2015 when the Supreme Court ruled in favor that not recognizing same-sex marriages performed in other jurisdictions are unconstitutional under the due process and equal protection clauses of the Fourteenth Amendment. This ruling legalized the practice of same-sex marriage.
