Robert Louis Stevenson
Robert Louis Stevenson (November 13, 1850-December 3, 1894) was a Scottish travel writer, poet, and essayist. Not only celebrated in his lifetime, Stevenson is one of the world's most translated writers. Treasure Island, Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and Kidnapped are among his most famous works. In addition, Stevenson wrote children's poems and travel essays, which are considered masterpieces in their own right.
