Korean War

The Korean War started after North Korea, supported by the Soviet Union and China, invaded South Korea, which would be supported by a UN force led by the United States. The war resulted in cease-fire in order to establish a peaceful treaty. To this day no treaty has been agreed upon, and the two countries are technically at war, only separated by a demilitarized zone that has become the de facto border. This collection of documents includes a summary of the war, details of the most important battle, and the cease-fire that ended active aggression between the two countries.
