Stone Age



Stone Age
The Stone Age lasted from 6000 to 2000 BCE and is characterized by the development of stone tools by humans. Stone tools facilitated agricultural developments and social organization. Use of stone tools eventually gave way to the use of metal alloys during the Bronze and Iron Ages. The following documents discuss the tools used and other develoments during this time period.
