Stephen Crane

Stephen Crane (November 1, 1871-June 5, 1900)—American journalist, author, and poet—lived a short but productive life. He is best known for his novel The Red Badge of Courage (1895). He wrote hundreds of newspaper articles and stories, six novels, and two volumes of poetry.
