Sir Isaac Newton
Sir Isaac Newton (December 25, 1642-March 20, 1726) was a renowned physicist and mathematician. Counted as one of the most influential scientists in history, he is credited as one of the developers of calculus and with laying the groundwork for classical mechanics, which are better known as Newtonian mechanics. Perhaps his most widely known scientific contribution is his mathematical explanation of gravity.
