Jerome K. Jerome
Jerome K. Jerome (May 2, 1859-June 14, 1927) was a British writer and comic best known for the humor travelogue Three Men in a Boat (1889) and his popular play The Passing of the Third Floor Back (1908). Other noteworthy works include, Diary of a Pilgrimage (1891); The Idle Thoughts of an Idle Fellow (1886); The Second Thoughts of an Idle Fellow (1898); and Three Men on the Bummel (1900).
