Robert Graves
Robert Ranke Graves (July 24, 1895-December 7, 1985) was a British poet, novelist, and translator of antiquity specializing in Classical Greek and Roman text. He is most noted for his popular historical novels, Count Belisarius; King Jesus; and I, Claudius. Graves's most impressive works of poetry were poems written in realistic verse about his service during World War I and his later love poems.
